Summary
Sun Yat Sen was the leader of the Kuomintang. He wanted to establish a socialist democracy, but most of China was run by warlords. He had trouble getting forgien aid because they were socialist. After he died in 1925, Chiang Kai-Shek became leader and rid the party of all Communists. Killling some while others fled to other parts of China. This included communist, Mao Zedong, leader of propoganda.
