Summary
Roosevelt was the longest serving American President. He served for 4 terms from 1933-1945. He had infantile paralysis which casued him to be in a wheelchair. When he became president he introduced many new policies during his frist 100 days of office. In doing so, he introduces the New Deal. One of his main reason in doing so is because of the skyrocketing number of unemployed people when he was elected (13 million). He dies in 1945, right befoer the war finishes becasue of a brain hemorrage.
