At the end of WWII Korea was divided along the 38th parallel. The Korean War was fought between North and South Korea. The war see-sawed back and forth until finally South Korea was able to push North Korea back. There were turning point at Inchon Landings. The Chinese and the UN both got involved in the Korean War.
