Summary
German U-Boats were used in this Battle. They travelled in wolf packs and fought a tonnage war. Convoy systems were used to get ships across the atlantic safetly so that U-boats could not attack becasue of them being protected by destroyers. These convoys had various technologies to help them get acorss the Atlantic. The Mid-Atlantic gap was closed by the range of bombers and number of warships increasing.
