The USS Arizona still continues to spill up to 9 quarts of oil into the harbor each day and visitors often say it is as if the ship were still bleeding.

Summary
Pearl Harbor is the Japanese attak on the US nacal base in Hawaii. It occured on Dec 7th, 1941. This attack was not meant to put USA into war becasue Japan thought that they would not be willing to reclaim the territory because they were too "soft". Their objective was to sink immobilize U.S. battleships and carriers. This almost succeeded but the Japanese made some mistakes; they didn't destory the oil depots, the aircraft carriers were absent and the submarine pens were not destroyes. As a result of this, the USA decalred war on Japan, leading to Hitler declaring war on USA.
