Summary
D-Day was known as Operation Overlord. The Allies opened a second front in France agaisnt the Germans. This second front was based off of five beaches; American: Utah and Omaha, Canadian: Juno, British: Sword and Polish: Gold. Rommel believed that whichever side won on the beaches that day would win the war.
