Interesting Fact
All of Stalin's plans were unmitigated disasters, however, Stalin’s policy forbidding any negative publicity led the full consequences of these upheavals to remain hidden for decades.

Stalin created a 5 year plans that was based on a quota system. It contained a seris of plans designed to increase the indusrty and output. It enforced economic planning which implimented a command ecnomy. His first plan was from 1928-1933 and it changed the agriculture and enforced collectivization. His main focus was heavy industry. The targets that Stalin set for production were too severe and had to be changed in 1934. Many party officials revolted against this and nominated a successor to Stalin who Stalin had shot.
