Summary
After D-Day the next big event was the Fall of Berlin. Between these two events, the Falaise gap and the liberation of Paris. There was Operation Market Garden in Sept of 1944 which was the ploy to end the war before the Russians were able to attack Berlin. There was also the Battle of the Bulge; the German counteroffensive. The Russians with 300,000 Sovietr troops attack Berlin. Hitler commits suicide in a bunker with his wife the day after they get married.
